After sending out millions of applications for the past few weeks, I finally have a summer job!! To celebrate this  I have done some guilt-free spending. Todays outfit comprises of completely new purchases but I especially love my new backpack. I was developing back problems due to lugging around a heavy handbag, so I desperately needed a backpack, for my health, of course! (Saying that makes the purchase feel more guilt free!)
I'm not sure if anyone is really interested in where I purchased these items, but I hope these pictures act as outfit inspiration. I love seeing other bloggers outfits and they have inspired this one, so hopefully its the same for anyone reading this. A soft trainers with a padded insole are perfect for making short walks in the park really comfortable. Also, a bit of ankle showing shouldn't go amiss. I had a hoodie stuffed in my backpack but didn't need it because it was so warm but I was cool enough to feel comfortable.
It was a lovely sunny day today so I met up with a friend and went for a walk around the park and into town for a bit of lunch so I have had the best and most relaxing day! I have come back with good food in my belly and a smile on my face. xo

Summer is here so all the best fruit is about so I have been having more fruit filled breakfasts to fill me up but also make me healthy.
I am not so concerned about gaining or losing weight, I eat whatever my body wants, but I just like to be healthy because a healthy body equals a healthy mind. Although it is the University holidays I have a strict reading list. 
I always concentrate better when I follow a primitive diet which is to eat as few 'man made' sugars as possible. Of course, I have lapses, but overall natural is best. I would say about 90% of the food I eat day-to-day is from natural sources, and I refrain from adding extra sugar or salt.  

This is a typical breakfast for me. The cereal is high fibre bran flakes topped with raisins. I wasn't feeling like eating too much fruit this morning, but I added the raspberries and a strawberry which were just enough to get the vitamins to see me through the morning. 
I don't know if anybody else feels like this, but if I go a day or two without eating many natural foods such as fruit and vegetables I start really craving them! Is this weird? Anyone else crave salad? Just me? OK. 

I have achieved an awful lot this morning-including this blogpost. It is not even 12.00 yet! Fingers crossed the rest of the day is this productive. 

Exams are officially over!
I finally have time to relax, it is such a good feeling to finish my first year at uni.
In my new-found spare time I have tried some  lip shades for summer that I would like to share with you.

I love all three colours but my absolute favourite is the sugary pink on the right. The colour is bold enough for an evening but understated enough to wear with a summer dress in the daytime.
The nude lip colour is an all-year essential but it is lovely for wearing at the beach when I won't be wearing much makeup.
The photo doesn't reflect the purple colour well, it is lighter in reality. I love this edgy shade for festivals. I am only going to one festival this year but I can't wait, it is this small edgy music festival that plays all sorts of music but mostly DJ's. It isn't just music, they have really random things to do. Yoga classes are my favourite, alongside a fancy dress shop/tea-room where they make the best tea and cakes! Anyway, good luck to anyone finishing exams, they're nearly over keep going! I will be blogging more frequently over the next few months so see you soon.
